Top 10!

Yay I made the top ten in Cheryl Johnson's 12 Days of Christmas online course and we are all up for a public vote on her blog here. The 3 entries with the most votes get a free place on a future online workshop.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow ....

Since my last post we have been hit by the worst winter weather for years ... yay snow. It started (for us) on the 18th December, the kids missed their last day of school, and it lasted til just after Christmas. Unfortunately I only got as far as the garden for some photos of Paul's, sorry, Noah's snowman!

The snow started again on the 6th January even heavier than before. The kids had only been back to school a day (Erin for 2) and I was supposed to be starting my new job (:o) in the Nursery. This time I made sure I got a few more photos.

The whole length of the guttering at the front of the house has been adorned with icicles.

We now have several in the freezer!

We also had a flock of Redwings camp outside the front of the house for a couple of day clearing the pyrocanthus bush of berries. Never seen these birds in the garden before.

I love walking in fresh snow!

Just after Christmas me and the girls had tickets to see The Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House. It was the first time for us all seeing a real live ballet and was just magical and can't wait to visit again.

And finally here is my favourite 6 images taken for CJ's "12 Days of Christmas" photography course.

That's it for now!
